Martin first obtained a degree in biochemistry from the University of Michigan; however after attending his first STAR POWER conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he decided to make the move to real estate. Ultimately, he launched a successful career with Keller Williams Realty in Ann Arbor, MI. Administrative Staff Becki Gersh is The Closing Manager for The Bouma Group. There are a myriad of complex details involved in the closing process. Becki's goal is for you to experience a smooth and stress-free closing process. She will do this by effectively handling all of the transaction details in a well-timed manner and keeping you fully informed every step of the way. Becki's exceptional customer service skills & years of experience will ensure that all of your questions are answered, making your home buying or selling experience a pleasurable one! Kristal Sadler is the Listing and Referral Specialist for The Bouma Group. Kristal is responsible for tracking trends in the marketplace with extreme focus on the condo market, keeping her clients informed of the market, and negotiating offers. With her previous background in customer service, she has learned the importance in open, honest and factual communication with clients and building strong relationships. She also maintains the Referral Department, connecting relocating clients with top agents throughout the country. Her other responsibilities include assisting Martin with daily prospecting and maintaining the For Sale By Owner and Expired programs. Kristal is a licensed real estate agent, a member of the National Association of Realtors, and has been trained to step in for other team members when necessary. Stephanie Bell is the Listing Manager for The Bouma Realty Group. Stephanie's main focus is the marketing and advertising of our listing inventory. She is responsible for such tasks as photographing homes, designing custom brochures, maintaining Martin's multiple websites, advertising with various newspapers and magazines, and keeping sellers abreast of listing activity. Also a licensed real estate agent, Stephanie's creativity and experience make her a vital resource in the processing and marketing of Martin's listings. Shelly Naylor is the Closing Specialist for The Bouma Group. With more than 13 years experience in the Livingston and Washtenaw County real estate industry, Shelly plays a key role in processing transactions in the closing department. She sets up inspections and appraisals, communicates with the buyer's lending institution, and coordinates closing details to ensure a smooth transaction. Shelly's experience and attention to detail make her an invaluable member of The Bouma Group. Joy Kendzel is the Listing Assistant for The Bouma Group. Joy joined the team a year ago after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Human Resources. Joy is responsible for processing and entering new listings into the MLS, price changes, setting up showings with agents, and preparing weekly market updates. She also answers the phones and assists the listing department in communicating with sellers and providing a superior level of customer service. Alice Blackmore is the Office Assistant for The Bouma Group. Alice provides office administration on the weekends and performs a variety of tasks during the week. Alice's pleasant personality is an asset when answering the phones, setting up showings with agents, and communicating with clients. In addition, she handles prospecting mailings and supports every department in The Bouma Group. Alice is concurrently working on her degree at Eastern Michigan University.Buyer's Agents Heidi Elder specializes as a Buyer's Agent for The Bouma Group. Heidi has lived in Washtenaw County her whole life and is very familiar with Ann Arbor's neighborhoods and surrounding areas. Her vast sales experience of 10 years includes a background in retail sales, new construction, and experience as a licensed Realtor for over 5 years. Heidi works hard to surpass her clients' expectations and focuses on her clients' needs by taking time to understand their home buying goals. Heidi puts all of her clients first, and her successful sales background demonstrates her strong work ethic, the results of which are the continuous referrals from her past clients, friends, and family. Heidi is excited to know she is making a difference for all of the families she assists in the local community, which makes her a very important member of The Bouma Group. Julie Gagne's background includes not only five years in real estate and new home sales, but also management, customer service, and education, which contributes to her unique approach to helping her clients. She works to provide education, resources, and the necessary context to her clients to help them find the right home for their circumstances. A transplant to the area herself, she understands the importance of a friendly and knowledgeable Realtor to help guide the buying process in the unique Ann Arbor market, and her wit, creativity, and style make her a valuable team member. Scott Guyor has resided in Washtenaw County for most of his life and started a family here, now living in town with his wife and two daughters. This means that he knows Ann Arbor and the surrounding area very well. With over 8 years of sales experience, Scott is also an expert negotiator and understands the importance of strong client relationships.
